Mocktail Menu Ideas for Weddings
One of the biggest shifts I've noticed in recent years is that guests at weddings and events actively want great non-alcoholic options — not just orange juice and sparkling water. Whether it's designated drivers, pregnant guests, those in recovery, or simply people who prefer not to drink, they deserve something beautiful in their glass.
At Winston's Mixology Studio, every wedding bar menu we create includes at least three mocktails designed with the same care and craft as our cocktails.
Here are some of my go-to wedding mocktails.
1. The Garden Party
**A fresh, floral mocktail perfect for outdoor summer weddings.**- 50ml elderflower cordial
- 20ml fresh lemon juice
- 6 cucumber slices
- Fresh mint leaves
- Top with sparkling water
- Garnish: cucumber ribbon, edible flower
Muddle cucumber in the base of a shaker, add cordial, lemon and ice. Shake well. Double strain into a tall glass over fresh ice and top with sparkling water. Float a cucumber ribbon and edible flower on top.
2. Sloe Berry Fizz
**The colour alone will get guests talking.**- 40ml pomegranate juice
- 25ml raspberry syrup
- 20ml lime juice
- Dash of hibiscus syrup (for colour)
- Top with elderflower tonic
- Garnish: fresh raspberries, rosemary sprig
Build over ice in a highball glass. Stir gently once. Garnish lavishly — presentation is everything for mocktails on a wedding table.
3. Spiced Apple Mule
**Autumnal and warming — gorgeous for indoor winter weddings.**- 60ml pressed apple juice
- 20ml ginger syrup
- 15ml lime juice
- Pinch of cinnamon
- Top with ginger beer
- Garnish: apple fan, cinnamon stick, lime wheel
Combine juice, ginger syrup and lime with ice in a copper mug. Top with ginger beer. Garnish with an elegant apple fan and a cinnamon stick.
4. The Sunrise
**Simple, visual and universally loved — perfect for welcome drinks.**- 60ml orange juice (fresh if possible)
- 20ml grenadine
- Splash of lemon juice
- Top with sparkling water
- Garnish: orange wheel, cherry
Pour OJ and lemon into a glass over ice. Slowly pour grenadine down the side of the glass — it will sink and create a beautiful sunrise gradient. Top gently with water and garnish.
Tips for a Great Wedding Mocktail Menu
**Match your cocktail menu:** For every signature cocktail on the menu, create a non-alcoholic version that mirrors the flavour profile. This keeps the experience cohesive for all guests. **Use quality mixers:** Fever-Tree and Fever-Tree Elderflower tonic, Belvoir cordials, and Bundaberg ginger beer make a significant difference to the final result. **Don't skip the garnish:** The garnish is what makes mocktails feel special and considered. Fresh herbs, edible flowers, fruit fans — they matter. **Give them names:** Nothing deflates a mocktail menu faster than calling them "Non-Alcoholic Option 1." Give every mocktail its own identity.Every Winston's Mixology Studio wedding package includes a dedicated mocktail section on the bespoke menu. No guest leaves your wedding feeling like an afterthought.
